Editing and proofreading: PARTE Book

In 2022, my dear friend and great journalist Ricardo Ramos Gonçalves invited me to edit and proofread some of the texts that would be featured in a book he was working on at the time: PARTE Book. I loved joining this project and editing content about the Portuguese contemporary art scene for a few days, while on holiday leave from the main job.

PARTE Book is a reference publication-guide for Art Tourism in Portugal, which invites you to (re)discover the country through its museums, galleries, independent art spaces, and Contemporary Art events.

Articles & Branded Content for Time Out Lisbon

In 2017, while studying for my MSc, I joined Time Out Lisbon as a journalism intern. I had the opportunity of writing articles for the website and paper magazine, focussing mostly on arts & culture, things to do in the city, and activities for kids.

After the internship, I kept collaborating with Time Out on the Lisbon for Visitors project, and later as a freelance branded content writer — which challenged me to adopt a more commercial approach to writing.

Time Out Lisbon for Visitors

After a 3-month internship at Time Out Lisbon, the editor kindly invited me to curate and write the texts for the 2017 Fall edition of Time Out: Lisbon for Visitors, a biannual magazine published by the group.

It was my first freelance job, and one I found extremely exciting.
